I was bored today, I have a walmart, futureshop (canada) and Bestbuy all around my area.
All 3 stores clean sold out.

Indeed, I did think it an interesting comparison that the OP made. But because the OP was making the comparison, I of course went along with it. If the OP had said "the most popular racing sim ever" I would have made no comment. But he did not. He said "the most popular racing game ever", which is incorrect. Arcade racing games and racing sims both come under the category of racing games. There's no ifs, buts or maybes, it was simply an incorrect statement in the OP.

Hmm...I'd say the reviews have almost nothing to do with it. With a game like this, despite what reviews say, people know (and with what I've heard, they were right), that the game would be amazing.
Money can't buy happiness. Just video games, which make me happy.

small sales for a high budget game,compare it to CALL OF DUTY BLACK OPS sales of 7 million copies sold in 1 day,its not even a contest,heck it will take GT5 2-3 yrs to reach 7 million,heck most games take 5 yrs to reach 7 million mark n others wont reach it at all..like the lame ff13,killzone n other sony blockbuster games.

Yeeeahh its always like that with fans. Always choosing sides that best fit their argument. I've never liked comparing exclusive sales to multi-plat sales. But thats just me :p
