Forums - Microsoft - 343 Industries' Halo Leaked?

I'm weary but, holy shit am I excited. 343 Industries is where I plan on working in a few years.

BTW if this was a game in development, then those would be mostly be placeholder graphics. Meaning it isn't fully up to scruff obviously. And no, nothing is going to be announced at the VGA's.

I don't see this as being 3rd person shooter.  Its  fPS and a guy standing in front of you, so it seems to me.

 

If this is lagit then I really believe its got a lot of potential.  I am hoping there is a lot of news to come out of the VGA's.  At the very least I would like to see more!

I don't know what the connection is.  I think MS created the name for their studio to coincide with a plot piece in the games.  Guilty spark.  I can't believe I didn't see it sooner, I feel like such a n00b haha.  I was sitting here going "that sounds so familiar, why did they pick that..?"  Then it came to me, epic fail.

Yah I think after looking at the screen that it is probubly an FPS. Man I don't like TPS games so I'm really hoping 343 is working on an FPS. Oh and also the guy who said no earlier then 2012. 343 has already made statements saying two years is to long to wait for a Halo game. So expect it to come next fall.

Also I doubt this leak if it was a leak was accidental. Microsoft and especially Bungie in the past has been known for leaking screens of games before they get officially announced or official screens and videos released. I expect there could be an announcement at the VGA's and it'll be playable at E3 and PAX with a fall release date.

Not that I know of, no.  But most of what will be announced is secret and this alleged leak coming in such close proximity is interesting.  But I'd put the chances pretty low, especially after they pushed GeoW3 back for marketing reasons (expect it to be the big MGS holiday 2011 core game).

Yes.  Now I'll warn you these two vids are VERY long and VERY tech talk heavy.  Most of it was completely lost on me but her knowledge, enthusiasm and even console agnosticism was refreshingly telling:  there's more to the 360 than we know.  Hope you enjoy.
