Saying Lady Gaga changed pop music is like saying Taylor Swift changed Country music.

The last time someone changed music was in around 2000, it was with Britney Spears, it wasn't her, but her managers, and it was for the worse.

Well I did notice chicks like Nikki Manaj and Ke$ha doing their best Gaga impression but no.  Lady Gaga isn't doing anything Madonna didn't do two decades ago (including trying to expose the world to some sort of sexual revolution--remember "Erotica"?).  I like her but I've lived long enough to see certain trends repeat (New Kids= N Sync, etc.).  I won't pretend she is something new.

what goes for new kids on the block goes for gaga as well

Its funny when I first heard Just Dance, a couple of months before it blew up, I was like no way this girl is going to be big and damn was I wrong, shame when I really feel like the Ting Tings, The Phantom's Revenge, The XX, and a few others deserve this much attention.
