My choices for 360 next year...

Gears 3
Halo Combat Evolved HD Remake.
Halo 2 HD Remake. (With both maybe releasing as a collection)
Halo Wars 2 or Age of Empires 4.
Left 4 Dead 3
Multiple Kinect games...

Bolded: But that game is for a PC audience. Halo Wars 2 is more plausible.

Left 4 Dead 3 would also be on PC

Just as a side note. MS are apparently still wanting to be big on PC. Hence Fable 3 also releasing there at some poin. Kinect too!

Age of Empires and/or Halo Wars 2 with Kinect on both PC and 360 would be pretty awesome IMO.

Exactly, but I didn't mention that since I already have to CGI (regarding L4D3).

Although I agree regarding AoE, apparently there's already Age of Empires Online, and I personally doubt it'll make its way to Xbox 360. But HW2, definitely agree.

Looking at what Valve is doing now with Portal 2, I wouldn't be surprised if L4D3(if they even make it anytime soon) would be on PS3 with all the old episodes included and the game having free DLCs like on PC as opposed to the 360 tbh. Would make a lot of PS3 owners happy if that happens, and might force MS to release L4D3 updates for free and make the 360 owners happy, you never know. I just use Steam though =P.

The only possible (non MS owned) exclusives are Left 4 Dead 3, WAKE 2,  and Splinter Cell 6. GTA V - you can forget that (especially when America is the only place where GTA IV 360 outsold the GTA IV PS3). [PROTOTYPE 2] - I'm not sure that MS would see really much of a reason, though it would make sense if only to battle inFAMOUS 2.

I like your enthusiasm though, and I'd kill for a new PGR, WAKE, & Left 4 Dead all only for 360. We'll see, the VGAs are upon us.

And as I said, the PS3 sales of the first game aren't to be ignored, either.

But yeah, I see PGR coming out in 2011 though. Alan Wake 2, probably 2012. As for Left 4 Dead, there's a PC version as well, and with the solid shooter market on the PS3, I don't see why Valve would ignore it, now that Portal 2's multiplat.

To be honest, if PGR5 is announced, I just need one more announcement of a core title, and I'm set for 2011. All that's left is Nintendo's games.

But Prototype 2 exclusive JUST to battle InFAMOUS 2? Shouldnt M$ purchase something .. bigger to try to battle Killzone 3, LBP2, The Last Guardian, Twisted Metal, Resistance 3, Motorstorm 3, SOCOM 4 and possibly Uncharted 3?

I don't know if that's sarcasm to add to your first point, or whether you're serious.

I don't see how Gears 3 and PGR5 could do that.

Yes, those 2 games plus one more core title would be all I need for 360 in 2011. Factor in Kinect, PS3 titles, and Wii titles, and I'm good.

M$ probably has a few surprises, I hope.

I'm sure they do.

Naw I'm serious. Don't see how Gears 3 and PGR5 can battle those games. Better be a hell of surprises! Lets hope :)

I don't even play Left 4 Dead on consoles.

But I do agree with what you said.

Rockstar: Announce Bully 2 already and make gamers proud!

Kojima: Come out with Project S already!

Well, when I said I just need these 2 games and one more core title, I was talking personally.

But what else they have for 2011, we'll have to wait and see.

Didn't Ubisoft Montreal basically confirm that the next installment in the Splinter Cell franchise would be multiplatform?

However if MS are stuck for games, they have shown in the past they are willing to buy third party timed exclusives to fill their roster, so I guess it is a possibility the next SC will be timed exclusive.

Prototype 2 doesn't make much sense. The first is on the PS3 and almost half it's sales are there. MS will want platform defining games that could potentially move hardware I'd imagine, Prototype doesn't fit that bill.

Another Alan Wake will probably come down the line.

Left4Dead 3 will probably be 360/PS3/PC.

PS: There is noway an Alan Wake 3 will be out anytime soon since it took 5 years just get the first one out the door, next one would be something like 3 years away if you ask me since they really don't have that many people in the studio.

well i think Remedy took 5 years for Alan Wake because of engine,so Alan Wake 2 coming 2012 is possible...wait,Alan Wake 3?

Uhh, no. Ubisoft Montreal aren't even working on the next Splinter Cell, Ubisoft Toronto is. And for everyone who thinks it's unfeasible for it to come out next year, go look at Splinter Cell's releases last gen, they're almost always one year apart from each other.

themanwithnoname's law: As an America's sales or NPD thread grows longer, the probabilty of the comment "America = World" [sarcasticly] being made approaches 1.

Am I the ony one who thinks that this list itself looks kind of lame? GTA V, Prototype 2, VIva Pinata . . . I want some MS exclusives for sure, but I'd much, much rather have some new hardcore IPs then even more sequels of yesteryears games.

- How about a real open-world survival horror game-- Alan Wake's original idea? Not 150 bullets with fast-paced action

- A hybrid WRPG like Demon's Souls with Kinect support (w/ joystick in left hand, of course)

- I want an original Splinter Cell style game; light and dark over Jason Bourne action any day. So in that sense, a new stealth game IP.

Microsoft said recently that they wanted to diversify their library of games. I can only venture to guess that means different generes?

And last, and most importantly . . .

Tales of Vesperia 2 ( :( )

GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.

I can see Splinter Cell 6 being timed exclusive for the 360.

All others are speculation at this point...

I think that there are going to be a very big line-up of exclusives... Microsoft is too quiet. You can bet on forza, pgr, a new halo (not 4, that'll be a launch title fot the third console) maybe LFD. A GTA and prototype exclusive aint going to happen.
