According to the Wikipedia.org lists of games released or announced, Wii has more games than Xbox 360 or PS3. I know wikipedia is probably not THE most accurate compilation of games, but it is probably in the right ballpark.

Wii = 405

Xbox 360 = 390

PS3 = 306

Obviously that 3rd party support is actually on its way now.

I hate to be the one to say it, but the overwhelming majority of those upcoming Wii games look like crap.

Don't get me wrong, I love my Wii. But that's almost entirely small publishers support boosting the numbers. That's not nothing, it still helps/counts, but it's not what we want to see. We want to see a list with a lot of strong must-have titles.

Not saying that support isn't coming. It is. This just isn't it.

Shovelware

Yes, there are a lot of small publishers and shovelware, but if there are so many small publishers making games for Wii, at least a few of them are bound to be good. And if they succeed they can become bigger publishers and make more games for Wii.

I wouldn't trade my Wii for anything.. but the overwhelming majority of those games look like total shyte.

Sheesh, if you look at a few of them carefully, you'll see that they are not even games at all. Damn you third parties.

 The Wii might be getting a ton of support, but none of the major comapnies are getting onto the Wii side. Nintendo wanted rock star to add more games, but they only added manhunt 2.  There are more, so that is why most of the games are crap!!
