Forums - PC - The myth that is Half Life 3

 just got half life 2 again (my origonal copy got destrioyed by a little sister -.-) and it got me thinking. Do you think there will ever be a half Life 3? Valve stated back in 2006 that the 3 episodes of half life 2 would act as half 3 due to the extensive amount of time it took to make half life 2. 

Despite this something tells me that there will be a third and final enstament of the series. Also why do you think half life 2: episode 3 is taking so long. perhaps its actually half life 3? Who knows...

This is what I think. There's no reason why it should be taking this long to make the last episode. My guess is that they wanted to up the graphics significantly and then figured that they might as well dive right into Half-Life 3.

Once you own a copy of  HL2 you can download it through steam. You didnt need to buy another copy. Half life 3 will be out in the next 5 years and it will be a mega hit as is everything Valve.



Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

I never understood what the hype about this game was. I played it and ep1...the game just didn't do anything for me :S



All of this, of course, is just my opinion.

Skyrim 100%'d. Dark Souls 100%'d. 
Dark Souls > Skyrim.

Portal and Half Life will merge in Half life 3, aperture labs was in competition for funding with Black Mesa, as per the chart visible in one of the Portal offices, and the aperture labs boat, the Borealis, was mentioned at the end of HL2. They could have all kinds of crazy scenarios with this, may be the boat has a experimental super sized portal gun used to shoot portals to say, the moon or other planets? But something has gone wrong, there was an accident on the Borealis.....
