Just curious how the GOW Collection is tracked for sales. Do they add the sales to the GOW 1/2 sales for the PS2?

Reason being.. I've been watching video game sales on several different region's amazon.com websites. The lightning deals today have all been good. At about 6:15 AM this morning, GOW 3, GOW Collection, and Halo: Reach all went up for sale at the same time. GOW 3 and Halo are about even in sales right now (with just over 50% of stock depleted), 5.5 hours later. The GOW Collection sold out in an hour. Its the #1 seller on amazon's top sellers list right now, above everything else. 

So how exactly are the sales calculated? I'm just curious to see how many units it pushes the week ending the 27th.

Am i right in assuming its Black Friday?? (i'm in the UK so we dont have it here). but i had GOW 1 & 2 on PS2, i actully played them to death and just this week, my willpower broke and i bought them again from the PS3 store. have to say i'm not supprised with what the OP says about sales, those games are better than most PS3 games.

although i dont know how amazon calculates it sales, i expect they both count as the same game if thats what you mean?? but it seems like their stock is completely depleted. but this might not be much, these games arnt new. in fact i'm supprised Reach isnt no 1.

I also believe GameStop have a PS3 and God of War Collection Plus God of War 3 bundle for $299...that should get insane sales. Can't wait for insane God of War numbers for Black Friday week !

Uncharted 2 should also have a massive spike since pretty much every ps3 bundle is bundling that game

Yeah same, i'm really hoping GOW3 is the best selling in the series, i'm just dissappointed that they havent decided to bundle it in the EU, the sales for the series couldve been better imo in the EEMEA. the only think is whether its undertracked which it could be in EEMEA.

I fully expect a HUGE bump to GOW and UC2 for this week cuz of all the deals...games like Ratchet and Clank will have a lesser of a boost as well

i think walmart hadGOW HD pack, Killzone 2, COD4, and a few others for $10 so I expect massive sales for them all.

The PS3 picked up 4 new 1 million sellers last week (week ending 13th) taking it from 66 million sellers to 70. Even with the EMEAA sales up right now, it still hasn't pushed another game over 1 million for the week ending the 20th. Hopefully when Americas sales go up it pushes a couple of games over 1 million for the week ending the 20th. Prototype and Motorstorm are both within 20k, and MAG is within 30k. 

For the week ending the 27th, I expect the 1 million sellers to grow to 75 for the PS3. All 3 of the mentioned above should be pushed over 1 million, plus GT5 release and possible huge push for New Vegas.
