I wasn't planning to get one yet, but my local Walmart had one left.  And seeing that amazon is selling it for $500, I just bought it.

So now I feel I have some options.

1.  Sell it for a profit

2.  sell my older one along with some games for $300 - $400  (maybe 5 games)

3.  If I keep this new xbox, i need to transfer the files from the old, do I have to buy that cable to do that?

sell the older one because your are not going to make out Like a bandit. No you don't have to get a tranfer cable unless you have movie downloads  that have expired.  Just go to http://www.xbox.com/en-US/Live/Transfer and put in your Gamertag and then follow the steps. This won't tranfer your saves either. Might want invest into a flashdrive.

Sell it. If your profit margin will be that much higher, you could always just rebuy Kinect later if you really want to and still make money. While I love Dance Central and Kinect Sports, they aren't going anywhere anytime soon-- you'll have more chances later.

Either sell your old one or use your old one for another room.  Don't be one of those tools that buys something you don't even want just so you can turn it around and sell it for a higher price and deprive someone that would have actually wanted it.

And yes, you need a transfer cable.  I think it's around $15.

whenever you can get more money out of a situation and at the end you can purchase the same item again and still have a good profit, you should always do it. More money will please you for sure =)

keep it, sell your old xbox. the profit from selling the new xbox=money from the old xbox. plus you wont have to wait to play on the slim
