sell the older one because your are not going to make out Like a bandit. No you don't have to get a tranfer cable unless you have movie downloads that have expired. Just go to http://www.xbox.com/en-US/Live/Transfer and put in your Gamertag and then follow the steps. This won't tranfer your saves either. Might want invest into a flashdrive.
