mine have to be Mortal Kombat, the story was good, and i love Johnny Cage's 1 liners lol.... and i know alot of people dont like this movie but i enjoyed Double Dragon also :D

I think the Silent Hill movie is the best one out of the ones I've watched.

I love the Resident Evil movies.

As for my favorite one. . . . it's a tie between the first one and Afterlife.

Everytime this talk comes to mind I remember how awesome it would be a Shadow of Colossus movie.

It could even be completely mute. It would be a masterpiece.

They shot part of that movie where I lived (Brantford) I lived in a pretty shitty looking place, well they sprayed this grey foam on EVERYTHING to make it look "dreary" it actually ended up making it look better IMO

Anyhow OT: Resident Evil movies for sure, good action and story

The two first Resident Evil movies were really good.

Silent Hill was very enjoyable.

Mortal Kombat was entertaining and filled with memorable scenes/quotes.

I loooved Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within. And I'm pretty sure Advent Children is epic.

I liked the Tomb Raider movies a bunch.

Hitman was totally forgettable.

But my favorite has to be Pokémon: The First Movie. It felt so mature back then lol

I have never seen a good movie based on a video game, I wouldn't consider Spirits Within a "Video Game Movie" so much, but if it was, it would be the best overall film of the bunch, because all the others are terrible.

Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within. Is the best. I loved the movie. Though not close to perfect. But like dystopia said. It isn't like the games at all. So it's hard to include it.

Final Fantasy VII: Denzel Episodes. (The anime) that came with FF7:AC Complete much better than AC. But this might not count because they're shorts not movie.

All the rest aren't very good movies imo

I'd pick
Tomb Raider and the cradle of life I think (I forgot which one) but it was a fun action film I don't remember it. But I remember thinking it was a great popcorn flick... really no worse a plot than the games. Not as fun of a game though.

Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. A bad movie with a bad plot. too much fan service. Some good action some really silly action. But, since I love FF7 seeing the characters rendered this pretty with good music, and fan service (both a positive and a negative) has enough for it to beat the other videogame movies I've seen.

The most enjoyable to watch out of recent memory is Prince of Persia. I'd probably say Mortal Kombat, but I don't remember too much about it and haven't watched it in at least 10 years sooo..
