Forums - General - Are you following The Ashes?, who are you rooting for?

I'm quite surprised that nobody has started a thread about this, unless I have missed it. Btw, I hope Australia wins this one ^_^

I used to hope for England to win every Ashes series, but lately I've become rather ambivalent. Leaning towards preferring an Aussie victory now that Aussie isn't quite the uber dominant test nation it was a few years back. When Aussie was beating everyone handily I pretty much was hoping for anyone to break their massive winning streak.

Australia..cus I'm Australian.

Anyways, I have a feeling that England are gonna crumble here again, like they always do..But maybe thats just my bias.

Getting bowled out for 260 wasnt a good start for them :/

i'm Australian and i dont give a shit who wins. i do not like cricket.. it is the longest freaking game in history

I only know the meaning of "the ashes" through Douglas Adams' books, but I have to ask...

Is it true that sometimes there's a tea break during cricket matches? An indian aquaintance of me told me something of that sort a long time ago.

Now that sounds like a laid back sport.

Australia and despite the fact the first game is only about 500m down the road I won't be able to go:(

GO Australia. They off to a good start with siddle (VIC Legend) Just hope that they can keep it up and be able to win back the urn.

Remember Boxing Day last time an innings and 99 runs :)
