Which PS1 jrpg do you prefer? Xenogears or Chrono Cross?

Xenogears. Chrono Cross is great though and I've bought it 4 times.

I like Chrono Cross as much as anyone, but really this isn't even close Xenogears is a 10x better game.

I love them both but if I had to choose it would definitely be Xenogears.

Story, characters, cut scenes, soundtrack, battle system, story, story and did I forget to mention the story?  No!

The best RPG story I've ever laid eyes/hands on, you might want to give it another shot. I know it took me more than one playthrough to understand the extent of how Legend...wait for it...ary it is.

Xenogears... Chrono Cross is very fun, but is no more than a shadow of its incredible predecessor... Xenogears does a pretty great standing on its own two feet... CC doesn't.
