You know what I think is a bad business decision?  I was on the PSN a few minutes ago, looking for something cool to buy (I'm gonna grab Crimson Gem Saga for the PSP) and I saw God of War 1 and 2 available for download for $14, each.  I clicked on them to purchase and they wouldn't let me!!  Sony won't let me buy a game from them unless I'm a PSN Plus subscriber?  They don't want my money!?

Oh, and because I don't think it's worthy of a thread, here's a video of Nick Arcade.  I used to love this show but now I realize that, like most things I loved, it causes brain damage:

You have to buy the God of War collection if you're not a PSN Plus subscriber, which is $30. So you don't have the option to buy them separately, but you can still buy them together like the retail version of the game.

The PSN Store states: "Free games and add-ons are yours to keep and play the entire time you are a PlaystationPlus subscriber unless otherwise noted."

I wouldn't take that to mean anything but you only have access to your free games if you are a current subscriber.

Otherwise you'd have a lot more people paying for 3 months of access just to download all available free games and only renewing when there were enough additional free games.

I recently became a PSN Plus member for the KZ3 beta. I saw that Syphon filter (PS1) was free, so I dl'd it. Its the FULL game and just to try.. I logged out of PSN and gave it a go. It works.

You get to keep your PS1 games, that one is for sure :)

Threat letter?   Where am I threatening you,  I am just saying that if you tell people the wrong information they will be pissed,  which I believe you are telling them the wrong information. 

I never heard that it matters if you are logged in or out.  Did you check to see if there is an expiration date in the information tab on the game?

Well I apologize if it came off that way, and it may be no harm intended, but what if someone joined PS Plus because you told them they get to keep all that stuff.  But then when their subscription comes and all of those games that were downloaded become unusable,  he is going to look at you for giving misinformation.  Thats all.  

When the PS Plus originally came out,  it was said any games that were downloaded as free were only yours to use while you are a subscriber, and they would be locked if you ever dropped the subscription.
