The town gathered around Homer, "Tell them! Tell them you're just a simple towny Homer!" Shouted Mr. Kitten.
Homer took a deep breath and gained the angry mob's silence by raising both hands into the air.
"Shhhhh! It looks like he's going to say something important" loudly whispered one member.
"Go on" encouraged Mr. Kitten.
Homer took a few seconds, looked around then stared straight into the cameraman's lenses and said " I like turtles!"
The whole town shared a collective bodyfloor.
The town agreed that it would be a bigger crime to let Homer walk the streets in his current condition so they did what any decent human being would do and put him out of his misery.
