Never heard of them - but hardly a surprise either.  GT5 will sell very well in Europe.  The Sun will also rise in the morning.

I too have Pre-Ordered it.

I can't wait to get my driving rig built, what a day that will be ^_^

well,

- this retailer has a deal with Sony and GT5 (I think), so it makes sense they are talking about GT5

- GT5 preorder in PAL are far more important than in US ... expect something quite important there

I pre ordered from there like 18 months ago, but I didn't notice anything special about doing so.

GT is literaly the ultimate force of car games in europe. Nothing ever has or evil will beats it as far as i'm concirned. Expeshaly not Forza for anyone who wishes to bring that one up XD

Forza's a great game and all its just that you coould probably sell the word Gran Turismo here in the uk lol

I kind of feel sorry for Need for Speed Hot Pursuit. It is the best NfS game for ages, yet its going to suffer under GT 5

I expect last week pre-orders in the US to be a huge jump. I think the highest 1 week jump in Americas preorders was ~15k. I'd like to think this final week will be at least three times that, with week one sales being triple what the pre-orders were. When people FINALLY realize GT5 is out there will be a huge flurry of sales. Pre-orders will only account for a small percentage of overall sales.

Then again I cancelled my subscription at Gamestop for GT5 about a month ago. NO I wasn't doing it out of rage. I had pre-ordered it at the Gamestop I picked up GOW3 from (that same night actually). I had only pre-ordered GOW3 there because I knew I would be up there that night. This Gamestop is actually about 15 miles from me inside of a mall. So the last time I was in there I asked if I could pick up my GT5 pre-order at any other Gamestop and he told me no. So I cancelled it with intentions of coming to my local Gamestop (less than a quarter of a mile away) and preordering it there.

When I went in there a couple of days ago when the release date was announced, I had to wait in a line of about 8 people who were also pre-ordering it. Thats why I expect pre-orders for the final week of release to more than triple their current highest 1 week increase.

Btw, anyone know when the reviews might start coming in?
