Well, I must confess I was really surprised when I read it has been out for five years already.

I think that the fact that the less powerful Wii is dominating the market (saleswise) and numbers of all three consoles are very strong, adding the fact that XBOX360 and PS3 have "upgraded" their hardware due to the launch of their peripherals (how funny is that?), this gen consoles might have 3 or 4 years more of good health. And I am more than OK with that!

well i always say the PS4 will launch 2015/16 so im guessing that microsoft will launch the next xbox about 2014.

And I might be getting a new one with amazon reportedly selling them for 60% off next week... The question is can I put my 20gb hdd in a new slim model, I'm guessing no, which means I have to go for the 250gb one, but that will still only be £80!!!

Yes you can, search Youtube. Only thing is you have to open up the casing on the fat HDD thus voiding the warranty. Not sure what the normal warranty time is, I'm guessing 1 year so it's most likely not a big deal.

Happy Birthday Xbox 360. It really has been through some shit.

I LOVE paying for Xbox Live! I also love that my love for it pisses off so many people.
