Ok, that is pretty insane, but isn't it a little late to get the Beatles? Literally everybody who wants them probably has them, they aren't just going to buy them again just to give Apple money...or will they?

Money can't buy happiness. Just video games, which make me happy.

You can't get the Beatles as digital download legally.. they wouldn't allow it.. untill now.. I wouldn't be surprised if they sell millions again.. like Michael Jackson when he died and his iTunes songs where bought millions of times...

I understand you can't get it via digital download, but their CD's have been available forever...

This isn't a huge deal right now but it's a big step for people who buy Beatles albums starting today. Remember that there are millions of kids out there who will fall in love with The Beatles but don't even own a CD player. It's just another way for Apple to cement themselves as the premiere digital retailer of music.

Anyone buying this is an idiot.

I have had the entire back catalogue of Beatles songs on my itunes forever... the box set cds can be had cheaper than this. buy and rip.

Ehm... the Beatles STEREO box set released last year was a whopping 300 euro's.. you can buy it now for 260...

Amazon has reduced the price today from 260 dollars to 130... so no.. you couldn't get the remastered STEREO boxset cheaper..
