I'd say not much more than 40K, unless the UK represents a disproprotionate percent of Just Dance 2 sales. JD 2 should be coming in at about 75K this week for the whole of EMEAA (unless I'm grossly overestimating it's WoW drop), so for Kinect Sports in UK to be >40K and <JD2 it means JD 2 in UK needs to be well over half of total EMEAA sales (even if JD2 sells exactly the same this week as last week across the whole of EMEAA). Is JD2 really that popular in the UK (or that unpopular in the rest of EMEAA)? Also there's rounding to consider, no way the 360/PS3/PC splits are exact whole number percentages. 2% reported could be anywhere from 1.6%-2.4% actual (I think if it was 1.5 or 2.5% they'd report it as such) so BO could be as low as 32K or as high as 48K. Again, on the JD 2 evidence I'd be inclined to think it's at the lower end, even with JD2 sales being steady this week >48K for Kinect Sports in UK alone seems a bit too high. We can only wait and see. |
Actually, the higher end seems more likely to me. After the PC version, the next highest selling COD was the Wii version which came in at #29 on the individual formats chart. If that version accounted for over 0.5% of COD sales (as it would have to if the PC version was a little below 2%) then that would mean its sales were over 10,000 - a bit high for the 29th best selling game in the UK I reckon (given that the UK market is smaller than Japan).
