Forums - Microsoft - Why Perfect Dark Zero beats Reach, Gears and Black Ops.

Although i do not agree in Perfect Dark: Zero being that great, i do agree with the frustating lack of local multiplayer and co-op these days. Everytime there is a new game with multiplayer the first thing i do is google if it has local multiplayer aswell, and i almost always get dissapointed. But the important thing is that we're not the only ones. Just google something like x360(or ps3) game with local multiplayer, or split-screen mulitplayer. The list of topics and requests goes on and on.

I guess we are pretty much stuck with Wii Sports and Kinect games for local multiplayer these days, although i just can't forget the fun i hade recently with RE5 co-op playing with a mate and a few beers. Really internet multiplayer simply cannot top that.

Yeah... I don't get why splitscreen and bots aren't industry standard.

One of the most frustrating things about FPS is one never seems to have ALL the advances... even advances that came in like... the SNES/PS1 eras.

If a FPS isn't going to have local co-op.

I'll just buy it on PC if I want it...

and I probably won't because Team Fortress 2 destroys everyone when it comes to awsome multiplayer first person shooters.

Online co-op?   Doesn't help me much when i want to play with my girlfriend.

It really should be. I blame RARE for not making more überawsome FPS's and Free Radical for dying...without their games there's no balance in the world of FPS's.

Don;t worry its been confirmed that Conduit 2 will have split screen mutliplayer with bots. This got me so excited I actually think I'll have to pick it up. I didn't particularily like the first one but four player split screen with bots on the Wii, man gotta buy that.

Also CryTek has commentated that they might make a new TimeSplitters in which case we might get some more bot loving gameplay on 360/PS3 or NexBox/ PS4.

PDZ is a fun shooter that I will agree with. Best shooter on X360? That`s WAY off. No matter how much I like PDZ I realize the game is Far from beign the best available on the console.

How our favorite systems are just like humans and sometimes have issues finding their special someone...

Xbox 360 wants to KinectPS3 wants to Move!  Why are both systems having such relationship problems?  The reason is they both become so infactuated with desire while watching the Wii as it waggles on by. They simply want what they can't have.

Not sure too many people would argue it is the best, and I know I wouldn't.  However, I have stated here that has features in it that apparently XBox developers felt they outgrew the need to include.

PD Zero is a nice game. More than it's given credit for.

Now that I can agree with. Bots is one thing that comes to mind. Being able to use bots is a great way to get a feel for the multiplayer maps well and is a great way to try honing your skils if you don`t feel like playing online or the game is not very popular online. This is one of the reasons that I like Shadowrun as well.
