i doubt it will be milked, im sure they said GOW3 was the last in the series.... and yes im fully aware of Ghost of Sparta but i dont think there will be any more console versions, not with Kratos anyways

I think it will. It's pretty much set the standard in the genre since it first released. It is a legend in its genre at the very least. It's one of Sony's flagship titles. It will be remembered. Especially since it's not going away just yet.
