Forums - Sony - Anybody got the Sly Cooper collection?

I was wondering if anyone on VGC got the Sly Cooper collection. It was supposed to be released on Nov. 9 but today I went to a lot of major gaming stores and when I asked about it, they either don't what I'm talking about or they say it's not available right now.

so... anybody got it?

Depends where you live, here in the UK and EU its not out til Dec 3 and i think its out next week in Austrailia, but its already out in the US.

i cant wait for it, i've never played the originals, but i like the style and the platforming looks fun, its been a while since i've played a good 3D platformer! so i'm going to get it Dec 3 when its out.

but i do have a question for people who've played it. it looks like some of it might be a bit of sandbox - because in the trailers you can see a ground level with bulidings and stuff. just wanted to know what thats like?? is it good??

That means we'll get it in December. Here in the UAE, we get our games around the same time as Europe.

but yeah, Sly collection looks like a lot of fun. reminds me a lot of the awesome PS1 platformers like Spyro and Crash.

Yeah, i think it comes with 4 sets of trophies, 1 for each game and a bonus set for minigames. and i've seen some of the gameplay on youtube, and the HD update looks excellent - really looking forward to it man!! they might do HD updates of other ones if this is a success imo.

Back in the ps2 era, I never bought any of them, but played a couple of demos.  If you like any of the other games like this (Spyro, Ratchet and Clank, etc., etc.), you will most likely like this game...I'm currently still only on GoW 1 from god of war collection, but once I beat that, I think I'll use my $20 Amazon credit from Black Ops and a previous credit of $5.55 (from black ops price lowering), and it will only cost me like $15 :)

Money can't buy happiness. Just video games, which make me happy.

Yes,I have it. I like it. It's in the genre as rachet and clank, but not really. It's well written and the gameplay is'nt all that bad. lol

I have it too and I like it. Gameplay is harder than average.

I have seen the gameplay for this on youtube and it definately looks like a PS3 game rather than a ps2 game! I was not too impressed with god of war collection but i am definately going to buy this!!

You know, i dont understand why Sony are favouring the NA market with this type of release.

they did the same thing with God of War collection, they released in NA in november (i think), then they released it in the EU after GOW3 came out (why do that by the way??, the buzz from a HD port wouldve been excellent for GOW3 in the EU, where the sales are not as strong as NA).

theres more PS3s in the EEMEA region that NA, so my point is why favour the NA region in terms of releases like this (no offense to NA people), but this is the type of thing thats been happening the PS1 days, and they even expressed regret because of passing the oppertunity to release Demon's Souls here, and their EU PSN is not as good as the NA one.

does anyone know why??

You are getting the Prince of Persia Collection exclusively in Europe.
