Remember back in the day when it was PS1 VS N64? It was just like, who has better games I'll pick their side.

Now you have companies buying timed exclusive dlc, excessive bindling, the race for motion tech, racism (People who wont buy 360 because it's built american), blue ray, and the race for net flix, dis shits crazzzy! Let's all take a moment to ease the console wars by saying something nice about the console you think should be below your favorite console. I think the size and reliability of the wii is nice....now it's your turn!

To be fair, a lot of people won't buy 360 because it's designed by American since American designed consumer electronics are usually shit and the 360 proved it more than anything else in the recent years with the earlier failure rates. Look at Nintendo consoles, they generally last for like.... forever, Sony's fail rate is a little higher because they are dumb asses that always adept the newer techs that haven't matured 100%, but that's not the case with the 360 at all when you look at what's inside that particular box.

I really like the Wii, it's compact, can stand or be laid down, draws only 18W on full load, very mod friendly, and because of low power consumption with other moving part factors, it will most likely last a long time, not to mention most games are exclusives lawl, not like I can play those anywhere else.

I liked the 360 at the start for the exclusive games at the time, the reason I don't have it anymore is because I'm a PC gamer who gets a lot of the supposed 360 exclusives anyways (also a lot of free DLC that 360 people have to pay for, like well, L4D2, wtf is that, XBL can lick my nut sacks) and so Sony's exclusives looked more interesting to me after awhile since I literally can only play those on the PS3, and I avoid shooters on consoles if I can (but UC2 is hot damn wtf good, that's the only shooter I truly appreciate to 100% on current gen consoles so far) so 360's line up all of sudden went stale on me when I thought that I also had to pay for XBL to actually play online. I heard they also recently raised the XBL prices so good thing I bailed last year lol.

So basically, I don't like how any of them look, their powers are a joke to my PC, so I only look at 2 things, games and value.

u cant be serious ...

in Japan

Nope.  Modern myth of videogaming.  They just don't like a console that doesn't have many games they actually like to play.  Kind of understandable.

Na they have a ton of dating sims......................................

please, nationalism ("racism") has nothing to do with why 360 isn't competing with Sony in Japan.

Every company has a hard time starting in Japan. Brands have a powerful hold on the consumer and it takes a while for companies to seal their place in the market, and even then, they could be associated with something poor. If you don't understand, I'm not going to explain, but brand loyalty beats out almost everything in Japan.

And don't get it twisted that Japan doesn't like foreign product. Japan very much adores foreign culture.

Every time I've gone to Japan, I brought lots of clothes from thrift stores. Bright tees with american product logos on them, and food, etc etc. People in Japan will pay top price for American stuff. What they do not enjoy, is an American product being foisted upon them. And MS is doing it in a very ham-fisted way. They had a very lackluster RPG buying spree and did not support their product as well as they should have. The controllers are also large compared to others, and much heavier. I could go on and on about why 360 does not do well in Japan, and none of it is because of nationalist, mercantilist culture.

Idol M@ster
eatt: Tales of Vesperia
Blue Dragon
Lost Odyssey
eatt: Eternal Sonata
eatt: Enchanted Arms
Loads of Smups
Loads of dating sims

That was 30 seconds of thinking. Yeah, the 360 has no games that appeal to Japanese gamers

Sig thanks to Saber! :D

What games do they get on PS3 that aren't available on the 360?  I'm talking style of games mostly.

That's not what he said.

The games I listed are huge in Japan. Last I checked the Japanese people liked Tales, JRPGs, Schmups,  and dating sims(and whatever the heck idol M@ster is). So what did he mean exactly?

Well the PS3 is a Japanese console which likely has plenty of Japan-only titles. GT5:P, Final Fantasy XIII and soon to be the likes of GT5 and The Last Guardian are also titles that are worth mentioning, especially considering titles like GT5 and FFXIII will push more units and consoles than anything the 360 has offered thus far in Japan.

MGS4.

Definitely worth a mention too. If I'm not mistaken it moved quite a few consoles in Japan.

Looking closely, he said the 360 doesn't have many games, not any games they don't like to play. The list you have there isn't very many, which is all he was saying.

The games I listed were only exclusives that I could come up with off the top of my head.

Idol M@ster
eatt: Tales of Vesperia
Blue Dragon
Lost Odyssey
eatt: Eternal Sonata
eatt: Enchanted Arms
Loads of Smups
Loads of dating sims

(A lot more then 8 games which is the current attach ratio in America not sure what it is in Japan)

More exclusives(or games that were exclusive at one point)

eatt: Star Ocean
Last Remnant
Magna Carta 2
eatt: Ninja Gaiden 2
Infinite Undiscovery
Ace Combat
Beautiful Katamari
Dead or Alive 4
Dead or Alive Extreme 2
DDR games

Plus a whole slew of multiplat games. Where are these lack of games that Japanese don't care for?

My total of exclusive(or eatt) games is at 27( counting five dating sims, five schmups, and two DDR games)

Edit: Plus Fable II and Halo 3 seem to have sold pretty well in Japan. Looks like the "MS has no games" is kind of stupid

Sig thanks to Saber! :D

I still remember Nintendo vs. Sega ...oh the console wars back then.

Okay I'll give it a go:
Xbox 360... Um... has HALO...

PS3 FTW!!!!
