It sounds good, untill you look closely at each game's multiplayer and see that they've all barely changed over the years. Then Black Ops starts to look more like a massive expansion.

All of what you listed in the OP will most likely be fixed by a patch. MW2 on the other hand was so unbalanced from the start it would take months to really patch it, what you listed are almost all connection related.

Infact some of those things will already be patched that you stated, pending final release and approval from MS/Sony on the patch.

the game is still pretty unbalanced

The kill streaks are WAY over the top.

OT: The Wii version has a few connectivity issues. The ridiculous offline battle of Khe watnot is silly too with its misdirection. You have to listen to your men and not the onscreen instructions.

it just goes to show that you can't maintain acceptable levels of quality with games as big as COD with a 2 year dev cycle for each game over 3 platforms.

No it actually changed. Black ops was the biggest change, in my opinion, with the introduction of COD points.

MW2 online was broken. They fixed it and made it better in Black Ops(more balanced)..Zombies mode is as fun as ever with more variety and bigger maps, the Campaign was the second best in my opinion (CoD 4's campaign being first).

Plus it has split screen online which is the best possible inclusion they could've made.

Game is worth my money.
