Forums - PC - Holy RAM pricing Batman !

I'm not sure if the title conveys my feelings accurately, but I just noticed that DDR3 prices are really, really low since last time I checked.

I saw 2x4GB of DDR3 for 126$ with free ship!

Am I the only one that feels the urge to buy 16gb of ddr3? 'Cause I don't remember EVER seeing it sell for that cheap.

Did the f***ing market just collapse?

Edit : Oh ok, it is collapsing.

Good observation!

And no you're not the only one :)

RAM prices are really making me consider purchasing another gaming rig. I will hold out until next year though. Hopefully the prices will stay down until then.

Prices went up on DDR3 in Dec of last year as well as March of this year, which is unusual.  They've been falling since August and with Samsung already producing RAM at 40nm DDR4 is only about a year away.

You do not have the right to never be offended.

Interesting, although I don't see wide adopton of DDR4 until ~3 years, as there's no need for it now.

Exciting and worrying at the same time.

its usually around $25/GB or RAM at least in Canada
