I know I'm sounding like a broken record but if you just look at the lists ...

2009 :

Nope, the best by far was 2008. That's when Metal Gear Solid 4 came out. The next best year is this, 2010 because of Gran Turismo. These single games make the whole year great, the other games are just tools used in its wake.
