My prediction for YEARS END:
WII - 18.3 Million
Xbox 360 - 15 Million
Playstation 3 - 8.5 Million
Just so long as whatever MMO it ends up being, what you do ends up *mattering* somehow.
I mean, all those fetch quests; they do nothing! what if, after fetching some resource, the terrans/zergs/toss were able to build a new NPC marine/Sunken Tower/Carrier? That would then go out on missions to attack the enemy?
At least in high-level areas, it would be awesome to look up and see a horde of mutalisks coming to fight your teams' wraiths, while jumping into your Goliath character to help them out. Also, why should buildings/NPCs/cities be immune to destruction? I mean, if my guild were *really* raiding Origammar, I would be able to raze important buildings that would then need to be rebuilt before they could be used again.
The fusion of MMORPG and RTS would probably be enough to get me addicted again. I do think that the Starcraft world would make more sense for this than either the Diablo world or the Warcraft world would.

Diablo 3 confirmed
Diablo 1 and 2 were as much an mmo as guild wars and hellgate are from what i hear, except the main world was blizzard.net chat room. I could see it being developed into a full mmo.
