Forums - Sony - So The Fight: Lights Out has 47 Metascore. IGN is still wrong?

People have gone rampant over the review of the Move enabled The Fight Lights Out by IGN, which got a 3/10

"The finished product is a mess that is not only frustrating to play -- it is also tiring and boring."

Basically people said this was a case of ignorance by part of the IGN reviewer and instantly pointed out iWaggle review as a fair review, which doesn't even qualify for metacritic rankings.

So far, there's 8 reviews for the title

And the metascore is at 47.

I think its pretty much confirmed this game sucks, you guys shouldn't bash IGN like that, and you should know as well how to admit when a game just doesn't live up for its hype and ends up being a total mess.

UPDATE

Metascore at 50 now - average of 9 reviews

I trust the reviews of IGN, my tastes and their tastes are in synch, so its a good site for me.

Why are you terribly ignorant?

Personally, I regard IGN reviews as my default source not because of the scoring, but because of the detail in their reviews.  I don't always agree with their score, but they are very informative.  In regards to The Fight, I could care less.

Hackers are poor nerds who don't wash.

Yes both the game and the IGN review suck. I mean, did you read the review and watch the game? It wasnt a question of score to begin with. If the IGN review wasnt plague with false information and hating, the 3 out of 10 wouldnt cause any problem. Just in case you do not know, they even changed the review after publishing it.

Disappointing.

Who's the best Pac, Nas, and Big. Just leave it to that.

PLAYSTATION®3 is the future.....NOW.......B_E_L_I_E_V_E

Slaughterhouse Is The Sh*t  .... NOW ........ B_E_L_I_E_V_E

From my understanding, the IGN review is based on 1/2hr's play (I might be wrong about that) if that's the case then that's a terrible  standpoint to take.

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

Xbox One: What are you doing Dave?

People weren't complaining about IGN's score, they were complaining about how many things they got wrong. If your going to review a game, review it properly and don't give anyone an excuse to fault you. He made several serious mistakes in his review, he got called out for it and hopefully in the future they don't make the same mistakes again. A game could deserve a 2, but if the review is filled with complete bullshit, then it makes it a bad review because they aren't truthfully informing their readers.

Bet with Conegamer and AussieGecko that the PS3 will have more exclusives in 2011 than the Wii or 360... or something.

That's true, but there was many people complaining about it actually being a good game with responsive controls.

Which it isn't at all.
