Forums - Sony - Some PS Move Sale Obeservation in Canada

ok guys i went to 3-4 biggest game stores around where i live and I  questioned about the sales of move and they said this:

PS move controler($49) is always out of stock and there is a huge demand for it for some reason.

The demand for the $99 bundle is good not as good as controller.

Resident evil 5 gold edition is one of the best selling move titles and it was sold out and on back order in all of those places exepct for one place that I bought the last one.

I didn't know there are that many PS3 users with PSeye only  (so they only need the controller)

did you guys find anything for move sales around where you live?

The starter pack is sold out in my local GAME and Gamestation

Even on Amazon UK they aren't selling it and the other retailers "only have 2 left in stock"

With regards to Australia and Gaming, hardly anything is sold out with the exception of the Collector's Editions of Games. Other than that, the Wii is the only thing that have been sold out in the past. That was back in 2008 for my brother's birthday we're we definitely getting him a Wii and Super Smash Bros Brawl. But man I had to search various places because the Wii was sold out everywhere.

So yeah I see PS Move Starter Kits everywhere (but in small quantities) as well as PS Move Controllers in small quantities here in Australia. Definitely not sold out here.

never expected RE5 to be the best selling PS move game.that should send a message  to other developers of hardcore FPS/TPS shooter games.

Haven't seen any move controllers at my store for some time.....We ran out of bundles earlier this week.

the reason the controllers are so much more popular than the bundles though is because whether people buy the PS3 move bundle, Sports Champions bundle, or just the move controller, they will still likely need a second controller depending on the game and how many people are playing.

so pretty much like canada.

they said navigator sales are low though.

I saw bundles in FutureShop but don't think I saw the individual controller. I'm usually not in the Sony section but went in to look at PSP stuff and then decided to check out PS3. If I remember next time I'm in FutureShop, BestBuy and EBGames I'll check to see their stock levels.

Also doesn't suprise me that RE5 is the best selling, RE has always sold well here. To bad individual game sales aren't reported to Canada. It would be interesting to know which software sold best accross our great country.

yeah....there's a ton of them down here.

Navigator sales will explode when KZ3 is released.

tons at Bestbuy :)

I'm actually quite suprised. I went to BestBuy, FutureShop and EBGames and their was only like two or three Move controllers at each location. Where as their are half a dozen to eight Kinects per store. It seems either Sony is beating out Kinect or maybe they just didn't supply as many units.

P.S- I represent the lower mainland in British Columbia, I wonder how other parts of Canada are?
