I just got an email from Nintendo stating I can choose my Platinum Reward for 2010.

Platinum Members can choose 1 of the following 3 items.

http://club.nintendo.jp/rank2010/handkerchief.html (Mario 25th Anniversary Handkerchief Set)

http://club.nintendo.jp/rank2010/calendar.html (2 Club Nintendo Calenders for 2011)

I chose the badges and bought the handkerchiefs for 250 points.

I'm not the biggest fan of badges and handkerchiefs, but at least the packaging looks good.

Maybe the US will get the same stuff in 2011.

Man for once I actually prefer our platinum gift. I'd take my statue over pins or handkerchifs any day. But I gotta admit most of the rewards you guys get in Japan put us to shame. So I'm glad to see one time where I actually prefer what NOA is giving.
