Hey guys, music making is a hobby of mine and I was wondering if could help me find some programs that could do any one of these things:

• Make a wobble bass sound (the signature sound in dubstep songs, if you didn't know)
• combine music clips together and layer different clips (I tried using movie maker to do this, but it frustrated me to tears)

so do you know any programs out there that do these things?

they don't have to be free, but i don't want like $300 things.

This is what a lot of people use for mixing and effects for free, I've done a couple mixes myself.  It's got alot of options so you're sure to find wobble bass.

I used the layering and equalizer for this, you can add alot of stuff but you need to download the MP3 codecs.

Nothing super fantastic, but it's a good starter program.  It lets you create several tracks, adjust their levels, and copy and paste any parts you want to repeat.
