I have a 360, PS3 and a Wii.  I prefer my 360 as I have the most games for it, all of my friends are on Live and I love the controller. 

I will admit however that Gears made me an early 360 fan...damn I loved that game.

360 primarily because of the strong second hand game market and number of titles.

I nearly always buy a title a month after launch most shops have the game at half price by then.

Otherwise old titles are available for very reasonable prices second hand.

Will probably get a PS3 one day but for now the price is still prohibitive.

DS has been the clear winner of this gen.

If I had to rank them it would be something like this:

DS >>>>>>>>>>>>>> PS3 >>>> Wii > Xbox 360 >>>> PSP

In my opinion the best combo is NDS - PS3

Nintendo games, touch games, jrpg's, classic 2d titles, big actioners and Demon's Souls = Win

I own PS3 and XBOX360 . i always buy MF games for the 360 ,because its so much better online and more people speak to each other,the PS3 is bad online hardly anyone talks.And why is the PS3s dashboard so dull and boring compared to the 360 dash it really needs updating. so its the 360 everytime for me

I'd take a bullet for the Wii.

(oh, I also own a PS3 and a DS)

PS3, not that I've played it in two months but LBP 2 and GT5 is about to change that...

I'd block a bullet with any console... :O

Sega Mega Drive !! ... Joking but i still love it and still play mega drive games!

I prefer the PS3 for its exclusives, reliability, free online and its blu ray. Blu ray was not a priority in buying my ps3 ofcourse but its a plus, also i have the chance to watch blu ray's at last and compare them with DVD movies.

I have the Xbox 360 of course and i had a terrible time with it. Its a great console, nice simple menus, easy to find and connect with friends, and its great feature that you can sign in with multiple profiles. With that feature you can play with friends and all can get their achievements. That is the negative point for Sony's PS3. Other than that, PS3 is preferable from the 360.
I had a terrible time with my 360 (and my brothers) because they got the RRoD. My brother's 1st xbox360 broke and he bought another but then it broke 2 times... He eventually gave up. Mine froze randomly in games and in the end (after months of psychological torture by freezing online and swearing) i found that a capacitor needed to be changed. After that i watercooled it so that it won't break too and to save it for the future as a retro console.

After all this i gave up and i sticked to my PS3 which I love.

Also i have and use my PC very often for FPS and RTS games!

I currently have the following working consoles: Atari 2600, NES, SNES, Genesis, Dreamcast, Nintendo 64, Gamecube, Playstation, Playstation 2, Playstation 3 80GB BC model, Playstation 3 Slim 250GB, Xbox 360 120GB,  Xbox 360 S 250GB, and a Wii.

My favorite current gen console is easily my 360.

I love achievements, the controller is the most comfortable, it plays all the games I like, it has all the features I want, I can use my universal remote with it, Kinect is turning out to be awesome, and all my friends have one. The only thing it's missing is a Blu Ray player and even that isn't a big deal.

It's really no contest for me.

The Wii, only slightly edging out the PS3. And I own all 3.
