as CGI said big games coming out at the end of the cycle isn't uncommon TBH just look at God of war 2 that came out in 2007 and persona 4 came out in 2008, the Legend of Zelda: TP came out on gamecube.

And there is always the possibility that the games will be moved to next gen consoles as well.

the gen doesn't finish until 2014-2015

Sure Nintendo will release a console 2012ish only to catch up to the PS3 and 360 is hardware capabilities. 2012 is fine and hell we will have games coming out for ps3, 360 in 2013 as well.

Honestly im not too hyped for it. Im only buying it because MGS franchise is my all time favorite next to Donkey Kong Country. Gotta own them all haha.

Assuming Kojima's next game is a MG game then that possibly means we will see it in 2013 at the earliest..
