Wanna know what you guys think will have the biggest affect on KZ3's sales.

GRAW2 and FEAR/2 sold less than 500k on the PS3. Both Bulletstorm and Crysis are new to the PS3. There are also smaller games like Brink or homefront releasing sometime in 2011.

Could Crysis + Bulletstorm + GRFS +  FEAR potentially harm KZ3's sales?

Out of your list, I would say crysis 2 because I think I'm gonna end up getting that instead of Killzone 3.  I'll just rent Killzone 3 to play single player.

none of the games listed will have much impact on Killzone 3 sales. Crysis 2 seems, uh, pretty ok, but Killzone 3 IS Killzone. also, CoD owns every FPS to the date, so I don't see a competition there.

considering that Killzone 3, Bulletstorm and Homefront are all launching on the 22 those games will eat each others first month if none are moved, additionally Dues Ex: HR is launching in feb as well. And the month before there is Dead space 2 and Mass effect 2 for PS3. In march there's Crysis 2 and F.E.A.R (and Yakuza 4). So a very crowded shooter season Q1 is looking to be I mean there is also the chance of Duke Nukem Forever to land Q1 lol. Expect at least some of these games to be moved out of Q1 for fear of cannibalising each other I mean that's just the shooters launching on PS3 the are a bunch of 360 shooters and other games in the same period...

If Sony actually decides to advertise Killzone 3, then KZ3 probably won't have to worry much about it's sales as much as Bulletstorm or Crysis 2.

Homefront won't do anything to alienate KZ3's sales. Ghost Recon is a TPS so it won't affect as much.

Crysis 2 does however seems like the biggest competition during Q1 2011 in terms of FPS.

EA is releasing Bulletstorm and Crysis 2 within a month's period so they pretty much have to choose which one to promote the hell out of and my guess is Crysis 2.

In fact EA has 3 Shooters releasing in Q1 2011.

Dead Space 2 in Jan, (Mass Effect 2 In Jan if you count it as Shooter/RPG Hybrid), Bulletstorm in Feb and Crysis 2 in March so, there's more of a chance that those games will eat each other's sales than affecting KZ3 by a noticable scale.

Crysis 2 will be massive on PS3 Crysis was a Game of mythical proportions because it could not run on any PC outside of very high end ones. so expect lots of sails for the curiosity of seeing how it will run on consoles.  

Killzone 2...

how about Dead space 2, Homefront, Mass Effect 2 and Dues Ex? personally I think well any one game won't have a massive effect the shear number of titles will have an effect.
