O_o man these claims are making me weary about getting Fable3 now
I know I shouldnt read into others reviews too much, but Im seriously gonna be dissapointed if instead of improving the series they took a step back, and if it turns out to be true...... I think I will be done with this series!!

Done with the series?
Go play Fable 2. I was let down by Fable 3, but Fable 2 ranks as one of my favorite RPGs of all time. I doubt I'll ever be done with Fable as a series . . . but I will say rent Fable 3 first. Its definately a good game, but it misses "great" by many little things:
-Your character is bland and one-dimensional in her speech. This could be due to the fact that he/she probably says 25 lines through the whole game. Maybe not even that many.
-Cutscenes feel like they were rushed-- I'm going to attribute this more to then trying to reach the holiday launch window then lack of technical skill. Animation is good for whats in them, and so is dialogue, but they are seriously freakin short . . .
-The same fighting throughout the whole game. The only variation is in different spells. Well, visual variation anyway.
-The ending. Rushed-- it feels short and incomplete. The beginning. Seriously rushed-- very little buildup to what would be life-altering events for your character. Your dog? Really, really stupid.
I could rant on and on, but I won't. Despite this I had a lot of fun with the game; I just wish it felt more like Fable 2. Perhaps nostalgia is affecting me, but I doubt it-- I loved Fable 2's world. A comparison done by Gamespot showed me just how much bleaker Fables 3's rather colorful world is in comparison to Fable 2's fantastical one. Honestly that was probably my main reason for playing Fable 2 as long as I did, and while Fable 3 has a fairly colorful world, it's got nothing on Fable 2's Albion. So did I have as much fun as with Fable 2? Not even close. But it's still good.
