So did anyone get the Kinect TV mount?

I want to get one because I think it will just look better and I like having it higher but I don't know how exactly it hooks to your TV.  The only real video I can find is this one and it doesn't really tell me too well how it connects to the TV and how easy it is to install.

Cripes that's big... is kinect really heavy or something? otherwise it's a bit overkill being screwed into the back of the TV.

They make a wall mount too.

If you can set it up properly so that the TV doesn't get in the way, that strikes me as a better solution as it will give the camera at least an extra foot of distance to the player, possibly even 2-3 depending on how your have your entertainment center set up.

this thing looks like it can lift the whole tv up not just the kinect its huge.

I would imagine it's like that because the Kinect moves around.  My space works alright with it below my TV but it would work much better above my TV...and I don't like the looks of the sensor sitting below my TV.

Well it is kind of big unless you have an extra shelf for it.

With all the crap already in front of my TV (Wii sensor bar, PSEye) I'll either have to shuffle things around or go with a wall mount. The TV mount looks pretty ridiculous; that's a lot of hardware to mount a camera.

I have the TV mount.  It's pretty good quality construction and I think it looks better than the wall mount.  It was an easy 5 minute setup because my TV already had the mounting screws in the slots so I just had to loosen and retighten them. I do agree that the wall mount would give it an extra foot or 2 of distance, though.  I'm barely outside of the "great" range so 2 players in my apartment might not work very well, but for 1 player it has been a flawless and very enjoyable experience!  The wall mount is about half the price of the TV mount, too, so if you can wall mount it and it will give you some extra space (if you need it) I say go for that.

I'm overall very pleased with the TV mount and the Kinect sensor as I have it setup.
