Hey guys, so I was at Gamex today which is kinda' like Swedens E3 (well not that big really, but they're trying to make it a yearly thing and they just started this year). I got to play the Killzone 3 pre-alpha singleplayer (e3 gameplay or even a bit before that I believe) which is the snow map with water.

There were three selections you could do - Regular, Jetpack and The .."rocket-ish spam-ish launcher" (cant remember the name of that thing).

The gameplay feels JUST like Killzone 2. The heavy feeling IS there, the aiming has been improved but then again, it feels the same as Killzone 2 since it was updated and added somewhat of a tiny aim assist. It works really good and you will feel just at home. The melee kills are insane, they are fucking fun and I just ran through everyone kicking their asses and stabbing them. AMAZINGLY done!!

The jetpack was also really fun. The whole flaoting in air and shooting is so damn epic and it really gives you a huge variation from the regular gameplay.

The rocket thingie was nice and took out heavy armored .."tanks" in one shot (its several "rockets" bursting in air well you get what im talking about!)

The graphics were really improved. At first I thought it was gonna be Killzone 2 just more.. white-ish. But damn, it feels like they took Uncharted 2's snow and implemented in a first person view. Its really stunning! And the water on the ice cube-ish things is crazeeh!

Thats pretty much it for Killzone 3.

I played GT5 aswell and it was on the rome circuit with a mercedez (just one car and one map available :@). First off, the realtime damage was really good. Ive seen several videos and gone like: Oh I guess u barely notice anything when u bump into another car or just slightly hit the edges but NO!!! You could CLEARLY see the damage. The front was completely damaged after a crash and some parts were hanging and you could see how the car started becoming slower when it accelerated and how its top speed was reduced. The sparks are amazing and it really feels like you are crashing (ofcourse not grid/burnout paradise style XD but you get it! Its more than I expected atleast tbh!)

The cockpit view, well it must have been a premium car as it had cockpit view and it looked marvelous. It was such a beauty to play and the reflection of the environment on your hood as you drive is crazy. The mirrors, everything is just insane. Such a beautiful game!!

I played some other games ofcourse and im going back tomorrow aswell as the other days until Sunday (CANT HAVE ENOUGH XD). I also competed in a F1 2010 race where the top 10 fastest will get the game free. I got the 2nd best time and I believe this can be done once every day meaning that if I go there on the next three days, I can have 4 copies of a brand new game XD! FREE CASH LOL.

If theres anything you want to see, I could bring my iphone 4 and film it. It's not much content really, you've probably seen shitloads at e3 already and its basically that or less xD. Just wanted to share my thoughts. Killzone 3, gonna be amazing, day 1. GT5, delay or not, day 1. They are both REALLY GREAT games! Dont let your hatered make you from missing these two games!

I WILL BE PLAYING LITTLEBIGPLANET 2 aswell. Didnt have time for it today, too much people playing it :(!

and as for you're last statement. its better to be a gamer than to hate something you don't own; so in short i agree.

KZ3 feels like a game a generation ahead of any shooter I've played on the ps3

KZ3 is shaping out to be amazing of a game isn't it? Can't wait ( I REALLY wanna see the Alien Jungle and outerspace Levels, something tells me they are keeping these behind doors to get the hype train rolling nearing the release date. But we might see some of it at VG awards later this year I suppose)

Do they have Motorstorm and/or Twisted Metal there? Give them a try if you get some time and let us know how they are, I'm really interested in those two

killzone 2 felt a bit ahead of every other shooter imo, but people had different view points, trust me when I say KZ3 is ahead of anything I've played FPS wise on the ps3.....

it's league's ahead of KZ3, and the variety and innovative kinks in the multiplayer just make the experience very different from what you'd expect from a COD, a HALO, or even KZ2

it's like in it's own rank, the visuals are ahead of U2 in multiplayer, and I mean "ahead"

the gameplay and atmopshere merge perfectly for an experience you'd come to expect only from elite 1st party devs at sony, compared to other games on the ps3, and coming off MWF2/REACH, I say my opinion is pretty high up there, in terms of credibility =P
