~Hi, my son has 10 months... anyone knows when will be able to understand and play with the controls?  I am courious. :)

We live near a forest where we can do trials, mountain bike, hikking and drive boat (Near the sea)... so we are very active on sports, but I think let him play 2 times per week, half an hour each play, should be fine... what do you think?

Well I beat my first game around 3 years old. Games were really a family bonding thing and we all played like half an hour daily. Twice a week does seem alittle inefficient. Plus if you get your child into gaming you can use it later on as a gift.

My mom used to always hold gaming over my head. If I finished all my homework and got good grades I could play. If I scored an A on a big test she'd rent me a game to play. You can't really do that with hiking , boating, trails and sports. Gaming is a thing that can help you alot in parenting.

My baby girl is 1 year and 4 months.

I tried to play Wii music with her... she got really excited, but she couldn't and wouldn't understand the concept behind the game. She loves music and that made her be even more excited. It was very funny to see, even when she started to cry every time I tried to grab the Wii remote to teach her were to touch and how to make it work.

I always realised she is still very very young for it. But I think around 3 years old should be enough for her to understand the basics.

I can tell you she loved to watch how I battled my way up in Tales of Symphonia (she danced like hell in every battle!) and loves Mario, Kirby and Nintendo games in general. She also loves the dual analog of the PS3 controller.

LOL, my son likes to eat my PS3 controller...LOL;;; I think they need to get over 2yrs old to understand gamming.. thanks for that feedback :)
