From what I've seen the reviews are as expected and scarily similar to Wii/Move titles.

Sports - okay to decent

Dance - very good

Animal/Pet - okay to decent

Boxing - rubbish

Driving - poor to okay

So it seems the same pattern from Wii days is continuing here.  Dance and general fun/sport titles work well, boxing doesn't (BTW I wish developers would just accept boxing is actually hard to get right with motion controls or that they need to just dumb it right down to be fun) and driving titles are iffy unless very carefully tuned or a wheel or something similar is used.

All in all not a bad bunch of launch reviews and the tech reviews seem solid, too.

i just watched the IGN reviews, the main thing thats holding kinect back is the control problems. in almost every game they gave the controls a negative mark.. joyride actually looks pretty cool though and so does dance central

The gameplay just isn't right for those two games. They look like pure shit games and clearly reviews are reflecting that. But who cares, it's gonna be overshadowed anyway by other highlight Kinect games anyway aka Dance Central and Kinect Sports.

(Highlights in the sense of 'fun' games to play unlike Fighters Uncaged.)
