It would I guess have been a miracle if any launch titles were that revolutionary - although Dance Central does take the established dance game concept a bit further - so I don't want to sound too negative.

I'm just hoping that we don't see a re-run of the last 3 to 4 years of Wii gaming genres rapidly following on Move/Kinect.  Clearly it makes sense to follow in proven genres - so I don't blame MS and Sony for getting out fittness, dance, sports titles first.  But I do hope that once the dust has settled on the launch, we get some more interesting stuff - both in full motion control titles and with augmented titles.

I'm not negative to motion controls at all - I have a Wii / Move and am interested in Kinect - but I don't want to end up with three systems with three sets of similar titles!

Your posting history is taken into consideration during a moderation so I don't see any issue with it being used to call a user out.  Persistant hating of a product is trolling and against site rules, probably due to companies who employ people to do soley that on internet forums.  Metallicube might not have been moderated for his posts in here but that doesn't mean he isn't trolling, just that he hasn't crossed "the line", yet (at least in the moderators eyes).

Sadly our moderators don't see the same people constantly hating like the regular posters on the 360 boards so persistant trolls often take a long time to get flagged.  Once they are flagged though they quickly rack up the moderations.

I woner why PS3 has NO dance games, should mean Singstar dance sells nicely.

TBH Sony has seriously under-supported PS3 with more casual titles since the launch IMHO, making it all the easier for the Wii to hover up a lot of the demographic who got PS2s for Singstar, etc. in the first place.

I've never really understood Sony's strategy with regards to software this gen TBH.  I love new IPs for example but early on in particular the PS3 seemed to be getting too many new IPs (inFamous, Uncharted, Resistance, etc) vs popular IPs that had an audience waiting for them on the console.

OH by the way I went back and read some of the older posts, thanks for calling my a troll and saying I should be banned, all because some guy pulled some month old statment I made that I was ALREADY banned for. Real professional. The fact is, I was not trolling in this topic, at least until that guy came in and tried to hold me against something I said in an entirely different topic, when I was minding my own business and said nothing harmful in THIS ONE. That's real fair. Maybe I can get attacked in some other topic I post in too for no damn reason.

Ok, for some strange reason I read all of this back and forth and I think I understand what's going on.

Metallicube, you just need to show some humility.  Communicating, be in on the internet or in a marriage, is improved immensely if one shows humility and admits making a mistake.  It diffuses SO many arguments quickly that you'd think it would be used more.  But too many people want to feel right and justified in their actions and statements.

You called out the entirety of the Kinect lineup but claim that even back when you did that you thought DC would be good but didn't mention it.  That mistake gave themanwithnoname a justifiable reason to call you a troll here for claiming something different than your recorded post history shows.  Admit the mistake and move on.

I've visited this site for a few years and joined about 2½ years ago and to this day I have not been moderated or even warned.  I speak my mind and sometimes have very strong feelings about certain things.  But I always at least try to be fair, respectful and humble and so far that has kept me out of trouble with the mods.

A healthy community is only sustainable by good communication and that starts and ends with each of our individual contributions.

OT: Fighters uncaged isn't doing too well but Dance Central is delivering nicely! I need to check out that game soon
