Mass Effect is great, the game play starts off slow but picks up quick. BioWare really has a winner on it's hands of it can create a great sequel in the future. The sequel will probably be multi-platform since EA now owns BioWare.

You're in for a real treat. Mass Effect is one of only a handful of games that I beat and immediately started over again. This time, 'pig is kickin' ass and takin' names. It's cool that BioWare let me punch somebody 10 minutes into the game. :D |
yea that insane guy.......even on good i punched him ^.^
yea it is an awsome game and im still trying to beat it the second time on bad this time
With regard to Call of Duty 4 having an ultra short single player campaign, I guess it may well have been due to the size limitations of DVD on the XBox 360, one of various limitations multi-platform game designers will have to take into consideration-Mike B

Bet with Harvey Birdman that Lost Odyssey will sell more then Blue dragon did.| Slimebeast said: MS doesn't lie and twist their numbers like Sony does. Mass Effect is undertracked by vgchartz. |
hehe. youre my favorite poster and microsofts favorite type of consumer. Gullible. LOL.
The article states that 1 million copies have been sold in less than 3 weeks, Vgchart numbers for the first 3 weeks of sale (actually less than 3 weeks of total sales) are .94million which is pretty damn close.
The shocking thing is how good the legs have been, current VGcharts US sales only show a 22% drop between weeks 1 and 2 which is extremely impressive for a 360 game.
Given it's continued strong performance last week I could see it hitting 1.5 million world wide easily and 2 million is certainly a possibility.

Those VGC numbers are after ioi edited the numbers. Before the edit, the numbers were around 600-700k. Not 950+
Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
DLC can't come soon enough. Quarian flotilla, pretty please?

Aw shit, I would buy that in a heartbeat and I'm generally against DLC (excepting Rock Band songs).

Sooo the current numbers are more or less on track then?
Besides I think the ME numbers were edited more than once.
The numbers should be close. By how much, who knows.

It's been changed at least 3 different times. The original first week was 192k, then it was changed a few days later to 221k, then by the next week it had been changed to 260k for the first week. All of those ended up being vastly lower than NPD eventually came out with. Now it's been changed from about 650k to 950K+. That's still not over a million and that includes one more week of time than microsoft said it took to sell 1 million worldwide.
As long as the difference is 100k or less through the life of the game's sales it should be fine. It shouldn't matter that much as long as the numbers stay relatively close to Microsofts official numbers.
