I had a long well thought out very mean post (especially the incredibly stupid part about cross game chat and party chat, but just typical ignorance from the XBL community, you guys pay for online after all, and actually thinks it's worth it.), but thankfully it got deleted, 

so i'll just say this, black ops got just as much chance being GOTY as MW2 did, but it will be enjoyed by it's legions of brain dead fans who know nothing about good games and absolutely nothing about good shooters.

-1- camping

There are always campers in every video game, until someone thinks up a revolutionary method to stop them no game will solve this.

-2- doesnt require skill

How so? They're taking out deathstreaks, making killstreaks not count towards your overall killstreak (killstreaks must be obtained with your gun and equipment, not other killstreaks), there is also no stopping power OR juggernaut. Its way more skill based than MW2 where all you have to do is camp to get a Harrier, the harrier gets you a chopper gunner, and then the chopper gunner gets you your nuke.

-3- balance issues

Again, how can you know this without playing it? There is no stopping power, juggernaut, danger close or commando. I don't see any overpowered perks besides maybe ninja.

And in addition there's nazi zombies which should be bigger and better than in World at War, there's combat training (playing against bots for fun/practice), new wager modes like the gun game and 1 in the chamber which look great, new cod points system instead of the usual ranking up to unlock shit, and more.

I think you're just hating on CoD. Now believe me I HATED Modern Warfare 2, that was an abomination of a game; but Black Ops is looking to fix every problem MW2 had and be a great game.

Why does everyone hate MW2 so much?

Its cause the game is full of b.s.

Like there's commando which lets enemies knife you from a very long (and unrealistic) distance even if you've shot him 2 or 3 times in the chest, especially along with marathon and lightweight. There's one man army that people use with danger close and noob tubes and have literally unlimited noob tubes which is super annoying. The killstreaks get really annoying especially when nobody on your team wants to shoot them down and you have to do it all the time. Then there's deathstreaks which was one of the worst ideas ever. And also boosters that make free for all nearly unplayable (like every other lobby has boosters)

There are other reasons too, but those are some of the big reasons people hate the game. And the annoying thing is it would be so easy to fix but Infinity Ward/Activision are lazy assholes who don't support their game. All they would have to do to fix it is:

- Take Tactical insertion out of free for all and BAM the boosters are dead

- Reduce the range of commando (or take it out completely) and BAM less complaining about b.s. knife deaths

- Take out deathstreaks and BAM a lot of people are much happier not having to deal with painkiller, martyrdom and final stand

- Make it so one man army doesn't replenish noob tubes and grenades/claymores, but only bullets and BAM there goes the idiots with unlimited noob tubes.

Honestly just a few minor changes would make this game not only playable but amazing; but if IW doesn't care enough to fix their shit game I won't play it and I won't buy MW3.
