Seriously though, it's kinda getting out of hand. This goes for all sides. Let's face it, no matter how you wish to spin how things are going in your neck of the woods, the cold hard fact is it doesn't mean/prove anything as far as the gaming industry is concerrned as a whole. I know I use to use anecdotal evidence when I first came here. But, it got to a point where I realized it was useless. Partly because others really don't know if you're lying, and on the flip side, you don't know if they are lying to support their view.
So let's just stop using it. Or at the very least, just stick with online stores. At least they represent a much larger picture than your local Wal-mart, Target, and/or Best Buy.
Oh, and on a side note, some are still arguing this whole shipped vs. sold thing, too. If you haven't realized, you're on a gaming SALES site, so chances are the vast majority of people get that companies report SOLD TO RETAILER and VGC tries to estimate SOLD TO CONSUMER. And no company is lying/bending the truth when they report THEIR sold numbers. Well, that's pretty much it.
