Forget about me explaining what the hell this games about, I'll just say the gameplay is phenomenal as it is inventive, the art direction is rad, and the soundtrack is sooooo annoying that not even batman's iron will could save him from going batshit (horrible pun) insane!!!

But like every other game I adore, sales were... pft. Let us speak of them no more! Because not even playing the bright and fun Locoroco 2 could cheer me up

5. Super Mario 64

Everyone has played it, I don't think I need to explain much >_> But I will say this... I think this is the best Mario game.

I've played each one up to galaxies 2 and they all feel derivative of this one IMO. Plus, Nintendo seems intent on taking out the hubworld. That just sucks! I loved the hub world... That was pretty much my favorite feature of Mario 64, going around the castle and exploring was hella fun! Plus, I feel that the worlds themselves are much more memorable than SMS and galaxies soooo... yeah, that's why it's my personal favorite of the bunch!

Great game, yet very predictable for being in the top 5... but is it more predictable than my next game?

4. Legend of Zelda: Orcarina of Time

No... Super Mario 64 has got NOTHING on this sucker when it comes to top 5 lists. And considering we're all slaves to 'teh metacritic' OoT clocks in at #1! But not my #1

What could I think is better than OoT?! :O

3. Shadow of the Colossus

Damn... can I just steal Khuutra's post ? No you say? Hmmm... okay :/

Then let me say this... When I'm driving in my car, jogging outside, walking around my university or basically travelling in general... I sometimes start to think about Shadow of the Colossus. I day dream if you will. These episodes start out just imagining as though I was in The Forbidden Lands. I start tuning out the world and listen for the quietness of SotC. Soon, things evolve to the point where I'm trekking towards a mammoth colossus off into the distance.  The more I walk, the closer I get. Until, finally, I'm upon the giant beast. Then? ...Then it's over. I'm where I need to be and the journey ends.

This is normal behavior isn't it? No? Well dammit, I must be crazy! But I guess that speaks volumes about the game if it makes a crazy man experience an epic journey from time to time.  Since the whole Ebert incident, a question has loomed... are video games art? Or better yet, can video games even be art? When this subject is brought up, Shadows is almost immediately added to the discussion. So is this game art? IDK what other people define as art. I have the opinion that art is subjective as is the very criteria for art. So everyone will have a differing opinion about this game. Hell, some people don't even like Shadows! But to me, If something can pull you in soooo deep that YOU start living the painting or game or whatever, then yes. IMO, whatever that thing is... it is art.

And with that said, I think Shadow of the Colossus is art.

10.Dark Chronicle(Dark Cloud 2)(PS2)

Dark Chronicale is an awesome Action Role Playing Game Developed by Level-5 and Published by SONY in November 2002 in Japan and February 2003 in the US and September 2003 in Europe and the United Kingdom. It is the sequel to the game Dark Cloud.

 Yuris (Max English Version) is a inventor living with his father after his mother disappeared when he was young he comes from a wealthy family, but has no interest in privileged living amongst the bourgeoisie, preferring instead to work with an elderly friend, Cedric in his mechanic shop. After a chance encounter, he overhears Flotsam a homicidal circus ringmaster pressuring the town mayor to produce a certain item. Soon Max is caught up in a conflict of epic proportions, spanning both time and space. Working with Monica and other characters, he must rebuild" the past to ensure a prosperous future. His weapons of choice are various wrenches, hammers, and hand guns. He also has the ability to pilot the Ridepod, a steampunk inspired Mecha named Steve. he has one of three special amulets (Red Atlamillia) that enable travel through time, his allowing movement from the past into the future.

Monica is a young princess, adept at both swordsmanship and magic, who hails from 100 years in the future. After the murder of her father at the hands of an enigmatic figure named Gaspard, she sets out on a journey through time to uncover a grim conspiracy. Her travels take her into the past, where she helps Max in a battle against the evil clown Flotsam, who, like her nemesis Gaspard, is a servant of Emperor Griffon. Afterwards she joins Max on the quest to rebuild time and put an end to Griffon's scheme. Her weapons of choice are various swords and special brassards that enable her to use elemental magic. She also has the unusual ability to change into monsters, which avails her new combat options, as well as enabling her to talk to other monsters of the same type. Monica has one of three special amulets (Blue Atlamillia) that enable travel through time, hers allowing movement from the future back into the past.

Dark Chronicle is one truly amazing Action Role Playing Game some of the features of Dark Chronicle are fishing, Spheda, and the Georama. winch are all very fun and so is the weapon customization and also the Ridepod Customization there is just so much you can do in Dark Chronicle is truly awesome.

The Visuals are very beautiful Cell Shaded style Dark Chronicle is one of the best looking Games on the PS2. the Music cool and it fits the game perfectly.

Dark Chronicle is a Japanese Role laying Game that no Fan of the Genre should miss.

Zelda Wind Waker - I've played through this game so many times.  I've done everything including that fucking huge photography and trophy side quest which involves at least 2 playthroughs of the game.  I'm pretty sure I cried when my GC memory card broke with that data on there.  The game's art style was controversial at first, but everyone I know warmed up to it and IMO Wind Waker is the best looking game ever made.
