@epicberserk FYI, The new X360 S was released at the same week with a Monster Hunter Online game that came with 12 Month Gold Membership and that all together failed to outsell the PS3 and Wii back then. And if you don't know how big Monster Hunter is in Japan, I seriously don't know why you ask about things in Japan and the X360. Now you look at how abysmal the X360 numbers are from Japan each week.

And can you be clear with what you mean by 'big' for the X360 in Japan? Big what? You're not expecting it to outsell the PS3 or the Wii are you?

And right now GT5 has more a chance of releasing in December worldwide than late November considering how there's a proper GT5 bundle in Japan, it will only diminish the interest for X360 in December 2010.


yes i know even tho monster hunter online was a console port of the pc version of three years old it still sold quite well it was like 17000 360 slim sold for that week and it was constant for like 3 weeks so your info is misleading ... i have had a 360 and ps3 and u r a sony fan boy geez

bout time mods ban some on the 360 side, this past few days they have been creating threads about  "sony iz lying" crap.

I don't see the reason why he cant be banned, I saw others banned for saying  the word fanboy here.

@OP: Kinect should give at least some kind of boost when it launches on Nov. 20th. After that well, probably not too much (once the holidays end), but it might give the 360 slightly higher sales compared to the same time last year. (from Jan. onwards)

well if the numbers double of triple for two weeks, then it's a success. 

but xbox360 is dead in japan.  thank goodness for uk and usa for xbox360.

yep that where microsoft is dominating in the west regions but i do think for a few weeks in japan it will get high sales over there and a increase through out the new year from the 2000 sales it been getting
