Forums - General - Horror Literature Reccomendations

I've been meaning to read some horror books. I haven't even read Dracula (and it's a shame, considering I'm from Romania, and that's the most well known thing about my country). I have read Frankenstein though. Can anyone reccomend other good Horror books to read? What are your favorite such books?

Man, a newspaper in my country relelases a book with their paper every Thursday (for a very cheap price of course, and the books are hardback) in an effort to get people to read more. In 2 weeks the book they're relelasing is The Shining. Definately picking that up.

Lovecraft's bibliography should feed your desire.

I recommend you the following : Call of Cthulhu, At the Mountains of Madness, The Rats in the Walls, Herbert West : Reanimator, The Color Out of Space.

Then, to comply with your gaming needs, try Eternal Darkness

Just read a book on real life serial killers.
