FF 12 is a landmark, however not in the way you describe.

It marks the Decline of Quality in Final Fantasy, in my opinion.

SquareEnix has not made a Final Fantasy game worth playing since FF10.¨

this is all in my opinion of course so dont flame me for stating anything as facts.

Of course not I havent even played 100 games from the same console but I find funny that they didnt list Persona 4 or Suikoden 5 when a lot of people think highly of them

That's true.  Maybe it's just the power of the PS2.  There were so many good games, it might just come down to author's preference, ya know?

That's true.  Maybe it's just the power of the PS2.  There were so many good games, it might just come down to author's preference, ya know?

I know that is impossible to have a perfect list because of the tastes but I find funny how they rated a game a 3 or a 9.5 but the position on the list doesnt match those scores

I think so.  It's not a franchise's fault if a certain franchise is THAT good.  Metal Gear deserves to be on the list more than once, for instance.  It deserves to be on 3 times, to be exact.  ;)   And besides, it's 100 games, the best ones will get in regardless.  We can even do some honorable mention games if there is enough requests.
