Uncharted 2 as i got it this year other wise God of War 3

Though i would have said Fallout NV or GT5 if i had them

Final Fantasy XIII is my best game. I liked it from the beginning and everytime I see some cutscenes on youtube I am really looking forward to playing it again next year. For me, it is simply the best game of this generation so far.

Mass Effect 2...yeah everyone else seems to be picking it but there's a reason, it's just that good, may just be my game of the gen

That said, on the first playthrough, I was really disappointed with it as my expectations were soaring. Still, repeat playthroughs, and a resultant lowering of my expectations, have gone a long way towards me loving the game over any other I've played this year. Indeed, I like it so much, I'll probably buy it again when it hits PS3, especially if some unique content hits that platform.

It's a three way tie between Mass Effect 2, Super Mario Galaxy 2 and Dragon Quest IX

Mass Effect 2, simply awesome! Can't wait for Mass Effect 3.

God of War III still ousts Red Dead Redemption for me.

But Red Dead Redemption, Final Fantasy XIII, MGS Peace Walker are top contenders so far.
