I know. It really sucks to see people bashing Sony even when Sony has a product that is blowing up the charts. Especially when no one expected it to do this.

I mean 2.5 million shipped in it's first month in only 2 or the 3 major markets was NOT expected. Even Sony said they weren't expecting a phenomenon, but more of a slow burner. Of course maybe that 2.5 million shipped is Sony's thought of a "slow burner".....

And Kinect is sold out everywhere.  It's pretty amazing isn't it?  The peripheral hasn't even come out yet and it's sold out.  Wonder if that says anything...

And you can still get a Move controller at the store.  The post just shows how much online demand has increased and how markets will soon adjust.  You can also still get the $100 online, which shows that the demand for the Move isn't for a new emergin market for Sony, but that those who already have a Eye Toy are buying the Move.

This is are sad thate popel have to talk rbout kinect in Move thread. Sorny fanes would neever to do this thing in a kinect threadzzzz.

It means MS is spending 500mil on a marketing campaign while sony is getting a simillar good result for fraction of the cost.

Whenever I go out I only notice the Move controller being sold out, that's it. They always have tons of Sport's Champions bundle, EyePet Bundle, Navigation controllers and 320GB bundle.

I think that while it attracts some new customers, the Move is selling best right now to the current PS3 install base.

They will surely keep both. Regular controller gamer purchase way more software then motion only gamer.

Yeah it says a lot.  It says that the public hasn't yet understood how much of a fail boat Kinect really is going to be.  It says that after the  $500 million dollar marketing campaign coerces enough people to buy it and the system still doesn't have a 'good' use or quality software there will be plenty of Kinects sitting on shelves across the world.
