Wow, you would've thought Pachter molested you all in dank arcade or something.

Has anyone ever put together an HONEST list of his predictions to see how many of them actually came true?  Or are we just remember what he got wrong and throwing internet rocks at him to make us look cool?

Anyway, considering how things have played out previous years, to say Wii will sell the most in the U.S. isn't a CRAZY prediction in any way shape or form.  It certainly could happen.

Some have. I think Kotaku did one. He's pretty even hit or miss. The problem is that he's allowed far more press than someone with that record should have.

Also, the hit and miss pattern seems to be what others have stated. Misses are things that fly against the facts, and hits are the really obvious ones.

Poor Wii. I never realised it was going to do that badly over the holiday season.

This is actually part of the MS $500 million Kinect campaign. MS paid him to say that (note how he ignores the Kinect, just mentions Move and hardware revisions), so when Kinect sales go up, it could look like even more of a vicotry and increase sales even more (the logic? lots of people love underdogs. Let's paint the Wii as a sure win, and so Kinect will be the underdog, despite the 500 million campaign).

Do I believe what I wrote above? Nope, not really. But you asked , and I have no other explanaton why he would make such a prediction while not mentioning Kinect.

So the Wii is actually doomed?

Well yeah it probably will happen, but that's presicely why we're so surprised, because it means Patcher might actually be right!

Mayas predicted Pachter would have shocked Wii fans too!!!
