Oh yeh. Hopefully it will sell well.

It's... alright. At least it's getting promoted!

Nintendo Network ID: Cheebee   3DS Code: 2320 - 6113 - 9046

I think it doesn't get the message across in the little time it has - it wastes too much time initially on things that would make at least me loose my patience with the commercial.

At this stage there is no more need for "excuses". The potential market for 3rd party games on the Wii has been successfully destroyed by the 3rd parties.

You have a restaurant where guest chefs have for several years mostly output crap, with some exceptions. And those exceptions haven't really gotten much advertising (with a few exceptions...). There are other restaurants in the area, where other guest chefs come and cook more good or great meals. People who love the main chef of that restaurant will remain for his meals, but how much of the market interested in guest chefs' cooking do you think would even give a second look at any new offering by guest chefs in that restaurant?

@bmmb1  i get it man, the analogy wasnt neccesary, but no one has proof that 3rd parties are COMPLETLY at fault when games suck at selling. (NBA Jam is all on EA) but what about Sega's offerings??? those "casual" titles sell well and those are mostly 3rd party. And has someone ever considered that maybe the audience for certain type of games of Wii(FPSs, fighting games) are simply not that large as the HD consoles??? It dont really matter at this point, 3rd party blows on Wii (not the games themselves) just play whatever you want and hope that some of the good 3rd party games that the HDs see makes it way to Wii (im not holding my breath)

Oh I agree the audience for certain type of games is not as large, and maybe has never been as large. All I'm saying is that I believe it was initially considerably larger than it is now, enough to make any good and well advertised 3rd party core game (had there been any at the time) successful and enough to have justified a much greater effort than any 3rd party has put at the time , but then due to actions and inactions of 3rd parties a lot despaired and have never looked back since, so now (actually since after E3 2008 I believe) indeed the market is no longer there (or at least it is much. much weaker).

I think the commercial is Ok. But I'm very happy the game is actually being advertised. Hopefully in next week's preorder charts there will be a big boost thanks to the advertising. I don't think this game will be huge like the original game or anything, but I hope that it can follow a similar sales pattern as the Wii CoD games and climb over a million. I am very interested in seeing how this game performs, because I have always felt that the thing 3rd parties were missing on Wii (in addition to advertising) is realizing how important local multiplayer is on a primarily social gaming console. So if the split-screen multiplayer is enjoyable I really think that can boost sales and help it have some strong Wii legs.
